With W-GRID, we wanted to bring the scientific community and learning at one single place with the help & contributions of various industry stakeholders. Winspage-Global Research Information Disseminator (W-GRID), is a platform for educational institutes & research organizations where they can make an institutional repository within minutes, with a very affordable costing; saving around 60% of expenditure caused otherwise. Whereas, anyone can signup to be a reader for free. As per the traditional way, institutes and organisations largely depend on web-development agencies/developers for creating their own repository which takes a lot of time and resources. Sometimes, they also need to maintain their own server/small scale data centers for the same. W-GRID greatly helps institutions in creating online data repositories AKA institutional repositories without any infrastructural requirements.
