Growth and Decomposition of Onion Production in Maharashtra, India

The study was aimed to investigate the growth, instability and decomposition of onion in Maharashtra. The data of area, production and productivity of onion pertaining to 30 years (1989-90 to 2018-19) were made available through the secondary source of NHRDF which was further analysed using exponential function, Cuddy Della Valle’s Index and decomposition analysis model.

Screening of Promising Genotypes of Clusterbean against Colletotrichum capsici under Field Condition

 Anthracnose of clusterbean caused by Colletotrichum capsici is widespread problem limiting the profitable cultivation depending on the weather condition. A Total fifteen entries including the checks were evaluated under field condition during kharif 2017 for their reaction against anthtracnose of clusterbean.

Bioefficacy of antagonist on mycelial growth of Rhizoctonia bataticola by dual culture technique

All the four fungal and two bacterial bio agent evaluated under in-vitro were found antagonist against R. bataticola, however T. harzianum was found most effective and recorded highest mycelial growth inhibition (78.43) percent of the test pathogen over untreated control. Cluster bean [Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.] is one of the important legume and vegetable crop in of India in recent years. A roving survey was conducted to assess the severity of anthracnose of cluster bean during kharif 2017 in Morena, Bhind, Shivpuri, Datia and Gwalior districts of northern Madhya Pradesh.
