Anthracnose of clusterbean caused by Colletotrichum capsici is widespread problem limiting the profitable cultivation depending on the weather condition. A Total fifteen entries including the checks were evaluated under field condition during kharif 2017 for their reaction against anthtracnose of clusterbean.

All the four fungal and two bacterial bio agent evaluated under in-vitro were found antagonist against R. bataticola, however T. harzianum was found most effective and recorded highest mycelial growth inhibition (78.43) percent of the test pathogen over untreated control. Second and third best antagonistic found were T.

Pummelo (Citrus grandis (L) Osbeck) is referred to a type of giant citrus fruit native to southern Asia and Malaysia belongs to the family Rutaceae. It is thought to be the ancestor of the grape fruit. Pummelos are an excellent source of antioxidant flavonoids, a good source of potassium, phosphorus, folic acid, citric acid, etc.
The processing of citrus juice industry faced formidable problems of excessive bitter taste in terms of “bitterness” and “delayed bitterness” of juice worldwide because it reduces the quality and commercial value of the product. The two main compounds which impart the bitterness in citrus fruits are naringin and limonin.
The experiment with 32 genotypes was conducted at the sorghum research unit, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola in randomized block design with three replications during kharif, 2011-2012. The studied revealed that the magnitudes of genotypic correlation coefficients were greater than phenotypic correlation coefficients for most of the character under studied.
The present study was conducted during the 2014-15. Geo-referenced surface soil samples representing different tehsil were collected from Thane district. The latitude, longitude and altitude of sampling sites were recorded using global positioning system (GPS). The soil sampling sites were located in the fields of major crops in seven tehsils of Thane district.
